Looking for volunteers!

We are investigating the relationship between visual illusions and body perception.

We are looking for two categories of participants:
• People (aged 45 years and over) with no current pain
• People who have osteoarthritis in the hands

If you participate, you will be asked to view your hands through an ‘visual illusion box’ and fill in some questionnaires.

This study is aimed at a better understanding of Osteoarthritic (OA) hand pain. Part of the study will explore the mechanisms of pain relief in hand OA patients using a virtual reality device.

It involves 1 session lasting approximately 60-90 minutes  and you will be compensated for your time. You will also be compensated for your travel expenses.

Testing slots available from 25th July to 12th of August. Testing will take place at the School of Psychology, University park, University of Nottingham.

For more information or to arrange participation please contact: Kristy Themelis at lpxkt6@nottingham.ac.uk or on 07 429987714.
